Return Policy

Goods may be returned up to 60 days from the date received. All returns are subject to a restock fee outlined below. Return Merchandise Authorization (RMA) requests can be made online or by calling one of our customer service representatives at 866-388-0390, option 3.  Please have ready the original order or invoice number, part number, quantity, and reason for return. Parts returned without an RMA may cause delays in the return process, result in a higher restock fee, or be denied altogether.

Credit will be issued upon receipt and inspection. If a part is nonstock/ special order, it will be returned to the manufacturer for credit, and customer credit will not be issued until credit is issued to Marine Parts Source by the manufacturer.

Restock Fees

  • 1 -14 days: No restock fee
  • 15 - 30 Days : 15%
  • 31 - 60 Days : 25%
  • 61+ Days : Can no longer be returned

Non-Returnable Items

  • Parts that have been installed and/or used
  • Custom cut wire, hose, or fiberglass tubing

Additional Exceptions or Charges

  • Any free freight allowance from the original invoice will be charged back if the part(s) returned result in the original order being less than the required $100.00 free freight minimum.
  • Parts not returned in original packaging and resalable condition will be subject to a 15-25% repackaging fee or will be denied credit altogether.
  • Installed parts, used parts, or custom cut items are non-returnable and will be denied credit.
  • Credit for special order, non-stock parts will be at the manufacturer’s discretion and will be subject to their restock fee, return freight charges, or can be denied credit altogether*.
  • Credit may be delayed or denied if the issued RMA has expired.

Shipping Discrepancies

Please examine the contents of each package carefully and thoroughly! Your invoice is a record of all parts sent, and it should be checked to ensure nothing is missing. Special attention should be made to ensure small parts are not hidden under box flaps or accidentally thrown away with the packaging. Some items require shipment from multiple warehouse locations, so not all items ordered may come in one package on the same day.

If parts are missing, damaged, or mis-picked, please notify one of our customer service representatives immediately. If the package has been damaged in transit, a claim must be filed immediately with the shipping company. We must be notified within five (5) business days of receipt of parts in order to file a shipping discrepancy claim.

Credit

Credit will be issued upon receipt and inspection. Please allow up to 5-7 business days for credit to be processed once return is received. If a part is non-stock/special order, it will be returned to the manufacturer for credit approval. Once credit is received from the manufacturer Marine Parts Source will issue a credit back to the original form of payment.

Denied Returns

The customer will be notified if a return is denied credit. Items that are denied credit can be shipped back to the customer at their expense. Unclaimed parts will be disposed of after 60 days.

Our goal here at Marine Parts Source is to provide you with the parts you need in a timely manner at the lowest prices possible.  In order to keep our prices low, we reserve the right to charge up to a 25% restock on returned items.

Marine Parts Source Return Policy

  1. All returns must have a preauthorized Return Goods number. Please contact us via e-mail at support@marinepartssource.com or toll free at 866-388-0390 to obtain an RGA number prior to return
  2. No returns on any item that has been used or installed. For warranty returns, see our warranty claims page.
  3. Shortages & damages MUST be reported within 5 days of receipt in order to receive credit or replacement.
  4. No returns are allowed on orders that are 30 days past the invoice date. Any objections or challenges to the final order total must be submitted to Marine Parts Source in writing within 30 days of invoice date.
  5. Returned merchandise must be in new condition and in the original packaging. Items not returned in original packaging or broken sealed packaging will be subject to additional restocking fees or be denied altogether.
  6. Special order and non-stock items are non-returnable. If you are unsure of an item’s status, please contact us prior to ordering.
  7. Any free freight allowance from the original invoice will be charged back if the part(s) returned result in the original order being less than the $100 free freight allowance.
  8. Accepted returns may take up to 5 to 7 business days to be processed after the item(s) have been returned.
  9. Accepted returns are subject to a 25% restocking fee.
The following items are not returnable under any circumstances:

  • Fuel System Parts
  • Cut Hose
  • Cut Wire
  • Original Yamaha Parts
  • Special Order Items
  • Used or Installed Items
Please do not attempt to return an item to us without first calling or emailing us to arrange the return. A pre-authorized return number is required for all returns!
